Who We Are

JO TRIZILA
Jo Trizila is a multi-talented, high-caliber public/media relations and marketing pro, with over 14 years of experience building and leading integrated marketing and strategic public relations operations for companies. She has an in-depth background in directing marketing, promotions, media and public relations programs for major Fortune 500 corporations, small to mid-size companies and not-for-profits. She is experienced in conceptualizing, creating and implementing innovative promotional and marketing events. Additionally, she has held highly visible, leadership positions and has earned a reputation for continually making a positive bottom-line difference while fostering excellent relations and maintaining a high profile in business.
Jo is consistently successful in reengineering overall operations to minimize and maintain costs and increase profitability and exposure. She is experienced with developing and leading business opportunities and marketing strategies to maximize growth and increase revenue.
Jo has held high-visibility public relations positions as the direct liaison to clients, community leaders, elected officials and other businesses with experience in developing and maintaining an exemplary network of business and media contacts as a result of her strong communication skills.
Prior to Triz Com, Inc. Jo was the senior director of media relations for the Dallas Regional Chamber for four and a half years. Previously she was the director of marketing and publications for the Irving Arts Center.
She holds a bachelor of fine arts in theatre performance from the University of Texas at Arlington and has completed post graduate work at Wayne State University and the University of Dallas.
Her nonprofit activates are numerous and include Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Party, On-Line/Silent Auction Chair (2006), Big Brothers Big Sisters, Big Sister (1999 – 2004), Big Brothers Big Sisters, Gala Chair (75th Anniversary – 2003 & 2004), The Freedom Run, Founding Member & Executive Committee (November 2001-2004), Dallas Theatre League, President (1999-2002), Irving Chamber of Commerce & Four Season’s Resort & Hotel Golf Tournament Chair (October 2000), Leon Rabin Awards, Chair (1998) and served on the Dallas/Fort Worth Area Tourism Council, Media Committee (1998- 2004). Jo is the recipient of the YWCA Woman of Achievement 2000 Technology and Communications Award (2000) and was selected for Texas Woman Magazine Woman of the Month (April 1999 issue). She is a Leadership Irving, graduate (1999-2000) and served as its Vice President (2000-2001).
AMANDA L. RAY
Amanda L. Ray is an associate with TrizCom Inc., and offers more than 18 years of experience in award-winning strategic public relations, marketing communications, crisis communications, and media relations.
During her career, she has held overall account responsibility for clients in a range of industries including telecommunications, sustainability, nonprofit, arts, retail supply chain, retail technology, software, industrial automation, and defense. She specializes in consumer satisfaction and customer experience issues, sustainability, military support campaigns, wireless advocacy issues, national sponsorships, and philanthropy, among other corporate initiatives. She also provides and crisis communications, media relations coaching, social media support, serves as a corporate spokesperson, and is a trained brainstorm facilitator.
As a Senior Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard, Ray previously provided media, communications, and crisis strategy to the AT&T consumer communications team, designing national PR programs for the company’s U.S. territories for roughly 10 years. She also served clients such as Famous Footwear, Hot Shot Naturals, Nortel Networks, The Girl Scouts of Tejas Council, The Women’s Museum, and others. Her work for AT&T and The Women’s Museum has earned numerous national PR industry awards.
Ms. Ray is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a degree in journalism, a degree in psychology, and an emphasis on international media studies. She is a former board member of the Press Club of Greater Dallas and advisor to The Women’s Museum and The Arc of Dallas. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America, The Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, and the Junior League of Dallas.
JANE JARRELL
Jane Jarrell is an account executive with Trizcom Inc., and offers more than 25 years of experience in award-winning publishing, promotions, styling and public relations.
During her career, she has held account coordination and publicity responsibilities for Southern Living Magazines cooking shows. As the radio and television spokesperson person for the shows she also conducted advertising and sales meetings with local and nationals sponsors with the goal of positioning the client for greater sales opportunities. She worked with local newspapers, area Junior Leagues and other volunteer organizations all over the Southern region of the United States.
As advertising and promotions director for Neiman Marcus restaurants she developed strategic public relations plans with fashion and cosmetic companies like Escada, Thierry Mugler Angel, Guerlain and other national brands. She implemented marketing strategies, designed custom menus, recipes and plate presentations for 34 restaurants. As the food editor of Pigtails and Frog legs Cookbook, she worked with Four Seasons Hotels to produce the book for NM InCircle.
An author of over 14 books and co-author of twenty others she has extensive experience in writing and speaking in venues all over the country. She also works as a special contributor and stylist for The Dallas Morning News as well as numerous other publications. Other clients include CiCi’s Pizza, McDonalds, T.G.I. Fridays, Bennigan’s and Bon Appétit Magazine.
Ms. Jarrell is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her studies at University of North Texas in journalism and at the Cordon Bleu Cooking School in London. She was a charter member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, a member of Speak Up Speakers Services and a charter member of the MOPS, International Speakers Bureau.
