Lisa Faulkner-Dunne has more than 30 years of experience in public relations, community relations and community education. She served as executive assistant to Dallas Mayor Annette Strauss, led communications and outreach for one of Dallas’ largest non- profit agencies, the Volunteer Center of North Texas, and created the Literacy Awards, a fundraising event and luncheon to honor new readers, literacy tutors and the organizations that support literacy on behalf of the Dallas County Literacy Council.

At the Volunteer Center she also developed programs to assist nonprofit communities and helped corporations create internal community relations programs.  For more than twenty years, she has had her own agency, working with top brands and nonprofits to help them maximize their reach and visibility. Clients include Dunkin’ Donuts, 7-Eleven, JCPenney, Blockbuster, Save My Starving Children, Cold Stone Creamery, Stryker Orthopedics, Red Mango Frozen Yogurt, American Foundation for the Blind, Preeclampsia Foundation and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Lisa has received numerous awards including a Women in Communications Matrix Award, two PRSA Silver Anvils and a Lifetime PTA Membership award. Lisa is a Leadership Dallas graduate, former Leadership Dallas Alumni Association board member, and earned a B.A. from the University of Kentucky and an M.P.A. from SMU. She currently serves as the Communications Vice President for The DAWG Project, and is an 18-year volunteer at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
