Our Approach to Nonprofit Public Relations

TrizCom PR has a unique approach to nonprofit public relations. The PESO Model is our public relations approach that integrates paid, earned, shared and owned media. We know that this is the best way to reach target audiences and achieve our partner's goals.

Paid media is any advertising, such as paid ads, sponsorships or influencer marketing. Earned media is any coverage you receive organically, such as press mentions, bylines, contributed content, television features, radio broadcasts, podcasts, reviews or awards. Shared media is any content created and shared by users, such as user-generated content (UGC) or social media posts. Finally, owned media is any content that lives on platforms you own, such as website content, blog posts or e-newsletters. By using all four media types, we can create a well-rounded communications strategy that reaches your target audience in the most effective way possible.

Founded in 1976, Operation Kindness is the original and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. Its mission is to care for homeless cats and dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into responsible homes and to advocate humane values and behavior. Operation Kindness has saved nearly 80,000 animals since its inception. The shelter assists more than 5,000 dogs and cats each year, caring for an average of 300 animals daily with another 100-150 animals in foster homes.

Join Operation Kindness in their mission to care for homeless animals by becoming a member of the Happy Tails Society. This group of dedicated friends provides a monthly gift to help pay for the medical care, medicine, food, shelter, nurturing and behavior training the pets need to have a second chance at life.

Operation Kindness has been a TrizCom partner since 2010.
