Sport Video Innovations (SVI) is changing the way football coaches, fans and players see the game with their high-definition (HD) video helmet camera technology.

SVI’s technology is both rugged enough and streamlined enough to safely integrate within the nose bumper of the SchuttVision helmet. The resulting point of view is unique and puts fans closer to the action, gives coaches an incredible coaching and recruiting tool, and offers players the ability to improve their skills with first-hand replays of game and practice footage. The SchuttVision helmet is safe and National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) compliant. It can be used by players at any position, even in game situations.

SVI’s camera delivers 720p HD video at 30 frames per second, with 2.5 hours of battery life and a removable SD Card for media storage. Streaming video is planned for late 2014.

Sports Video Innovations (SVI) launched in January 2014 to revolutionize the way sporting events are viewed and experienced, starting with football and the SchuttVision helmet. For the first time, a rugged, high-definition video camera fits into the nose bumper of a football helmet to provide the unique player’s point of view coaches, fans and broadcasters have been seeking. SchuttVision is approved by the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE).
